Orange-fronted Parakeet (Aratinga canicularis)

It took me a long time to identify this specie but I am pretty sure this is an orange-fronted Parakeet now. Saw this fella at Parque Das Aves, a Brazilian aviary.

    I think this is more likely the Peach-fronted Parakeet Eupsittula aurea which is the one found in Brazil. They look very similar. Posted 9 years ago

The Peach-fronted Parakeet

The Peach-fronted Parakeet is a species of parrot in the Psittacidae family. It is widespread and often common in semi-open and open habitats in eastern Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, far northern Argentina and southern Suriname.
