
The African sacred ibis - Threskiornis aethiopicus
Like the other ibises this species has also a long down curved beak. He has a predominantly white plumage, black legs and a black bare neck and head. Also the tips of the feathers are black.
The sacred ibis was worshipped in ancient Egypt.
