This lone wolf was found limping through Hayden Valley, Yellowstone National Park at 8:30 am. My friend and I are not sure what the cause of his limp was, but he carried on after a brief pause for a picture.

The wolf is a large canine native to Eurasia and North America. The wolf is the largest extant member of the family Canidae, and is further distinguished from other Canis species by its less pointed ears and muzzle, as well as a shorter torso and a longer tail.
