''Salix matsudana'' is a species of willow native to northeastern China. The species is named in honour of Sadahisa Matsuda, a Japanese botanist. Three varieties are recognized, ''Salix matsudana'' var. ''anshanensis'', ''S. matsudana'' var. ''matsudana'', and ''S. matsudana'' var. ''pseudomatsudana''.
