Dedicated Parent
This is a nesting gull along one of the coastlines in the Galapagos. Very unique colors on this bird compared to other gulls. The next few days I'll be posting at least seven more species introductions but that means a bit of a dip in quality so I apologize for that.
The swallow-tailed gull is an equatorial seabird in the gull family Laridae. It is the only fully nocturnal gull and seabird in the world, preying on squid and small fish which rise to the surface at night to feed on plankton.
