  1. While they look somewhat similar, this is not the Shami tree - Prosopis cineraria, which has all yellow flowers. It is a sickle bush - Dichrostachys cinerea.

Other common names include omubambanjobe , acacia Saint Domingue , el marabú , " Mpangara" , Kalahari-Weihnachtsbaum , kéké or mimosa clochette .
