  1. hi Ali, thanks for the species creation request. For now I have identified this one as the main species "Ovis orientalis". The sub species you mention is valid, but there's very little information online about it, not even eol.org has useful info. Posted 11 years ago
    1. Dear Ferdy, The Laristan Mouflon sub specie is actually one of the rarest of this family it can only found in a extremely remote areas of Iran. so there are almost no information in English on this specie.
      I am working in MMTT (Natural History Museum of Iran) and i can ask some of my coworkers for reference and description of this sub specie but it take time because its our new year (Nouroz) Holidays :)
