White desert rock formations Mountains eroded over time. The White desert is a national park in Egypt and borders with the Black desert where the rocks are covered with black volcanic rocks. If memory serves me correctly I took these photos somewhere in between the two deserts. When you enter the White desert fully, everything is a stark white.
