Macro grounds, Amsterdamse Waterleiding Duinen This photo highlights no particular subject, I just wanted to given an impression of a scene in the Amsterdamse Waterleiding Duinen park. It is a park well-known for its deer and foxes, but there's also opportunities for macro. Here I went off the track to find a typical scene for macro specialists: flowers, beetles, butterflies, all abundantly present. An example:
Fun fact: in dutch they are called "dikkopjes", which means thick heads. Amsterdamse Waterleiding Duinen,Europe,Geotagged,Netherlands,The Netherlands" />

As a second note, this can be seen as a gear demo as well. If you're a (full frame) DSLR owner, you will know how hard it can be to capture a scene that is sharp end to end. Not with this lens (Nikkor 14-24mm), it truly is the sharpest lens I have ever used. Amsterdamse Waterleiding Duinen,Europe,Geotagged,Netherlands,The Netherlands Click/tap to enlarge
