    1. Yes this species is transparent :)
      In "Costa Brava" (Spain) there are thousands of these but this one was the biggest I have ever seen :)

      1. It does not seem that Wikipedia has identified this Rock Shrimp species other than to just classify it as part of the genus "Palaemon". All the Costa Brava pictures that I see classify it as "palaemon elegans" which Wikipedia does not have as a species. Someone probably needs to update Wikipedia. :)
        Have you tried entering just "Rock Shrimp"

Palaemon elegans sometimes known by the common name rockpool shrimp, is a species of shrimp of the family Palaemonidae. It is native to the eastern North Atlantic (including Macaronesia), the Baltic, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea, and introduced in the Caspian and Aral seas.
