Phrynocephalus mystaceus is a species of agamid lizard found in Iran, North Afghanistan, Eastern Caucasus, Kazakhstan and possibly in south of Astrakhan Oblast. This species reaches up to 24 centimeters in length and is notable for its red oral display frill.
