Plum headed parakeet

The Plum-headed Parakeet is a parakeet endemic to the Indian Subcontinent. Along with "Psittacula roseata" of the Himalayas it was sometimes known by the name of Blossom-headed Parakeet which is now used to refer only to "Psittacula roseata".
