Pink Spotted Cattleheart Butterfly

There are different patterns to the Common Mormon butterfly. I believe the said that this was one of them. If someone finds a different name please let me know. I was able to catch this photo while visiting Seattle in June.

  1. The Common Mormon butterfly has white spots and stripes on the body. The red-bodied swallowtails it mimics are more red-bodied. I think this is a good match for this fellow - pink-spotted cattleheart butterfly (Parides photinus).
