Male sable antelope
I took this picture in a game reserve somewhere outside of Lusaka (although, I have to admit, I can't exactly remember where). The nice thing about the reserve is that walking was allowed, which I took full advantage of. I came across this male while on an afternoon hike. I was more or less bushwacking, and I don't think that many people ever stepped out of their safari vehicles, so this guy wasn't too sure what to make of me. So, the two of us stood there and stared at each other for a few minutes before he turned and ran, and I carried on with my hike.

The sable antelope is an antelope which inhabits wooded savannah in East Africa south of Kenya, and in Southern Africa.
