  1. Excellent find, what a bizarre yet beautiful moth. Note that you shared two near-duplicates. It's fine to share multiple photos from different angles and compositions, but if they're almost exactly the same, it's best to just upload one from that specific angle. I'm refering to this one:

The Small Emerald is a moth of the family Geometridae. The species can be found in Europe.

The wingspan is 28–32 mm. The moths fly in one generation from June to August. .

The larva feed on Clematis vitalba.
