We found this little moth in our house and I've never seen such a clear expression on a moth's face!

The Small Emerald is a moth of the family Geometridae. The species can be found in Europe.

The wingspan is 28–32 mm. The moths fly in one generation from June to August. .

The larva feed on Clematis vitalba.
