Morning Take Off
I got up early and waited for the sun to come up from behind the Shenandoah mountain. When it was time I took my tripod out and went out to the front porch where grandma puts up hummingbird feeders every summer. I positioned my camera directly in front of the sun and held down the shutter button as the birds fed in a frenzy.

The ruby-throated hummingbird is a species of hummingbird. As with all hummingbirds, this species belongs to the family Trochilidae and is currently included in the order Apodiformes. This small animal is the only species of hummingbird that regularly nests east of the Mississippi River in North America.
