
Macro closeup of a Giant Prickly Stick Insect
An odd-shaped, friendly insect found in a butterfly park in the Netherlands. I'm self-promoting this because, well, it's a Giant Prickly Stick Insect. No more reasons are needed with such a name. Here's some more weird species names:

The species has the Phasmid Study Group number PSG9.
