Champion This is specifically a prairie rattlesnake (Crotalus viridis viridis). I stumbled upon two males fighting one another for a female and took pictures of this one which was the winner of the battle as the other was bleeding. Not too sure what the effects are of a rattlesnake biting another rattlesnake but interesting nonetheless. This was my first ever rattlesnake and was stoked to have of finally found one.
