Micrathena sagitatta     Arrow-shaped Micrathena Spider Although this picture is not crisp and clear, the shape and color of this Arrow-shaped spider is an easy ID. Easily spotted on a leaf in my yard, I was able to grab my camera and take this picture. Definitely not one of my best shots but a very interesting spider just the same! Micrathena sagitatta Arrow-shaped Micrathena Spider

Although this picture is not crisp and clear, the shape and color of this Arrow-shaped spider is an easy ID. Easily spotted on a leaf in my yard, I was able to grab my camera and take this picture. Definitely not one of my best shots but a very interesting spider just the same!

"Micrathena sagittata" is a species of spider belonging to the family Araneidae. It is found in the eastern United States and throughout Central America.
