Another great "camouflaged" moth! This moth can blend in to the bark of tree so well that it is sometimes, nearly impossible to detect. The black, white and grey colors are the perfect blend to camouflage this moth. Ceratomia undulosa,Geotagged,United States,Waved Sphinx Click/tap to enlarge

The Waved Sphinx is a moth of the family Sphingidae. It is found in the United States, and southern Canada, east of the Rocky Mountains. Adult moths are strictly nocturnal, hiding away as dawn approaches.
