  1. Tough one, as fungi identification always is. I'm not an expert at all, and some say the only way to identify a fungi is to sample it, nevertheless I did some general searches. Unfortunately, I can't really find anything visually matching, other than Trametes versicolor. It's a weak match though, that species comes in so many shapes and colors.

  2. It's definitely not Trametes versicolor - it's a cup shaped fungi rather than a shelf bracket and it does have (though, not visible in the photo) a stem. The three I found are all possible matches that could be found in this area… the differences are too subtle for me though, as I know little about mushrooms - pores vs teeth? I think to know I might have had, at very least to see the underside. Posted 11 years ago
  3. This one looks like Wooly Tooth Mushroom. Posted 10 years ago
  4. Nice! I've never seen any photos of them this blue/gray! Or is it just the lighting? Cool either way! Posted 3 years ago

The funnel-form caps of Coltricia perennis typically have well-defined bands of colors, these ranging from cinnamon-brown, yellow-brown to grey. Important identifying features are a tomentose cap surface and a usually decurrent tube layer.
