  1. Martin, please tell me where this picture has been taken. It looks very much like Crossidius coralinus, but I couldn't find any records these beetles to be spotted in Europe. Posted 10 years ago
    1. What about Purpuricenus? Maybe Purpuricenus budensis, altough others are similar. A top view may be useful. Posted 10 years ago, modified 10 years ago
      1. I think you are right. P.longevittatus is very similar, but native to South Turkey and Lebanon. Most likely this is P.budensis. Posted 10 years ago

    2. sure, these were taken in Southern Bulgaria, if it's any help we are only 100 km from the turkish border but there are many of these here
