    1. Great perspective, welcome to JungleDragon! Good job on the identification, here's some further tips to improve photo sharing on this site:

      - Use the "Edit details" button to give your photo a meaningful title (instead of DSC_XXXX)
      - On the same form below the edit button you can also set the description (you're currently using the comment section for that)

The polar bear is a bear native largely within the Arctic Circle encompassing the Arctic Ocean, its surrounding seas and surrounding land masses. It is the world's largest land carnivore and also the largest bear, together with the omnivorous Kodiak Bear, which is approximately the same size. An adult male weighs around 350–680 kg, while an adult female is about half that size.
