My friends and I were doing an outdoor project for our Environmental Science class and we ran into this snake. My teacher thought it was a brown snake but I'm not 100% sure. DBP

  1. If this is in America this is a water snake of some sort. Probably Northern Water Snake but I do not think it is an Eastern Brown Snake from Australia as the scalation is clearly different along with the slight patterning on the tail end which is common in water snakes especially juveniles as through time they lose their color and patterning.
