Hypericum perforatum
It's a medicinal herb. Many generations of my family have gathered and used it to treat a cold in winter. It's believed that the best time to gather it on July, 7-th. That's the time of the ancient pagan holiday of the Slavs which is called Ivan Kupala Day. To that day flowers are supposed to accumulate maximum solar energy. That's a believe of our folk. The picture was taken on that particular day.

St John's wort is the plant species "Hypericum perforatum", and is also known as Tipton's weed, rosin rose, goatweed, chase-devil, or Klamath weed.
