Mother Goose I was at the Catoctin Zoo and couldn't help noticing this beautiful bird. I had never seen one like it before and I just had to follow it as it was walking around the zoo with the other geese. I wonder if it lays golden eggs? The Bar-headed Goose is a goose which breeds in Central Asia in colonies of thousands near mountain lakes and winters in South Asia, as far south as peninsular India. It lays three to eight eggs at a time in a ground nest.
