      I'll admit that this definitely wasn't a good example of the most rugged or adventurous of my photo shoots for sure hahaha!, I rather casually shot this photo of this gorgeous, wonderfully cooperative & photogenic Emerald tree boa while he was basking in the light in his enclosure in the stunning "Amazon Rising" Live exhibit at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, Illinois while passing through the area on a road trip.

      I highly recommended it as a place to visit if you ever in that area! been there several times throughout my life and it keeps getting better and better, surrounded by a wealth of knowledge to feed ones mind as well as some excellent casual photography opportunities.

  2. Hi, a very amazing shot!
    But sorry, it isn't a Green Tree Python. It's an Emerald Tree Boa (Corallus caninus) from South America.
    The small picture on the right is ok.

'Corallus caninus' is a non-venomous boa species found in the rainforests of South America. No subspecies are currently recognized.
