Skaklia Waterfall
The Skaklia waterfall is located in the Iskar Gorge near the Bov railway station in Stara planina mountain, North-West Bulgaria. This is one of the highest and most beautiful waterfalls in Bulgaria.
The Skaklia waterfall consists of two levels: the upper one drops about 90 meters, and the lower one about 20 meters. The Skaklia waterfall can be approached from the upper side, following the eco-trail starting from the village Zasele. The eco-trail is winding down through rocks and forests and leads to the bottom of the waterfall.
The waterfall can be reached as well from the other (lower) end of the eco-trail, from Bov railway station.
