Skaklia Waterfall The Skaklia waterfall is located in the Iskar Gorge near the Bov railway station in Stara planina mountain, North-West Bulgaria. This is one of the highest and most beautiful waterfalls in Bulgaria.<br /> The Skaklia waterfall consists of two levels: the upper one drops about 90 meters, and the lower one about 20 meters. The Skaklia waterfall can be approached from the upper side, following the eco-trail starting from the village Zasele. The eco-trail is winding down through rocks and forests and leads to the bottom of the waterfall. <br /> The waterfall can be reached as well from the other (lower) end of the eco-trail, from Bov railway station.
