  2. I was going to ask you why you named the picture whale of the forest, but after hearing that call, that is dead on to sounding like a humpback or sperm whale. Good shot! Good name! Cheers. Posted 11 years ago

The indri, also called the babakoto, is one of the largest living lemurs. It is a diurnal tree-dweller related to the sifakas and, like all lemuroids, it is native to Madagascar.
