Iguana King of Beers We loved traveling throughout Costa Rica last year. We stopped at the Restaurante Las Iguanas for a bathroom & ice cream break. And too see the many Iguanas. This one made me chuckle, even though this box of Corona is oil, it immediately made me think of the Corona beer, and this little guy was the "king of beers". The green iguana or common iguana is a large, arboreal, mostly herbivorous species of lizard of the genus "Iguana" native to Central, South America, and the Caribbean. Usually, this animal is simply called the iguana. The green iguana ranges over a large geographic area, from southern Brazil and Paraguay as far north as Mexico and the Caribbean Islands.
