  2. Other people have identified male Mandarin Ducks at the same location, so I'll put it as that. The bill is a good indicator, but the plumage looks a little different... immature or 'mixed breed'? Posted 11 years ago

The Mandarin duck, or just Mandarin, is a medium-sized, East Asian perching duck, closely related to the North American wood duck. It is 41–49 cm long with a 65–75 cm wingspan.
