      1. It reminded me of my cat. Offtopic, recently our cat had an eye infection and I had to manually apply medicine to his eyes three times a day. I still wake up at night from the horror. Posted 8 years ago

  6. It's always more interesting when the subject of the photo is actually doing something rather than just sitting/standing/whatever. Of course the downside is that you have to wait until they do something and then take that split-second shot. Sometimes the wait is worth it. Posted 8 years ago
    1. I'm quite a restless person, but when it comes to photography -especially foxes- I seem to have looots of patience and indeed: sometimes it's all worth it. ;)

The red fox is the largest of the true foxes, as well as being the most geographically spread member of the Carnivora, being distributed across the entire northern hemisphere from the Arctic Circle to North Africa, Central America and the steppes of Asia. Its range has increased alongside human expansion, having been introduced to Australia, where it is considered harmful to native mammal and bird populations. Because of these factors, it is listed as Least Concern for extinction by the IUCN. It.. more
