        1. It doesn't matter who identifies it, the image owner will still get the species intro. In this case, if you'd identify it, you'd get points for the Scientist medal. Which is correct, since you identified it after all. Separately, the image owner was the first to have a photo of the species (no matter who identifies it) and will gain points for the Pioneer medal. Hexagonia is a genus of fungi in the family Polyporaceae. The genus has a widespread distribution, especially in tropical regions, and contains 16 species.
