    1. You are absolutely right and thank you for pointing that out..it made my day!
      Our local dam is ferociously dominated by a pair of coots and only yesterday I was complaining that I could never get a shot of the moorhens as they are very shy and always lurking in the reeds. When I took this impromptu shot, my brain automatically said 'coot!'. So I am very happy that I finally got a photo of a moorhen!
