    The EXIF is interesting. The Sigma lens is a macro lens, which you then extend? Does that offer more than 1:1 magnification? Also, how do you manage to stack shots with a moving subject like this?

  3. With an extender you have 2:1 – This is often easier than shoot with the MP-E 65!
    This spider has remained sitting quietly and there was absolutely no wind. But you have to work fast :)

"Misumena vatia" is a species of crab spider with holarctic distribution. In North America, where it is the largest and best-known flower spider, it is called the goldenrod crab spider or flower spider, because it is commonly found hunting in goldenrod sprays in the autumn.
