On The Run

This great crested newt is a protected species in the UK and I was fortunate enough to come across this one's hang out and see him on a weekly basis.

  This species is definitely a bit less common but the smooth newt seems to be everywhere when i go out to look for them. I often go looking for these guys and out of all the smooth newts I have found this was my first and only great crested newt that i've found. Posted 11 years ago
