    1. I did some research. There are 2 similar species - the common eastern bumble bee (Bombus impatiens) and the eastern carpenter bee (Xylocopa virginica), but I cannot see the abdomen very well here to tell if it is hairy or not. Maybe you have other photos to see this. It could be the carpenter bee because the bumble bee head looks hairy too and this one doesn't.

"Bombus impatiens", the common eastern bumble bee, is the most commonly encountered bumblebee across much of eastern North America. They can be found in the Eastern temperate forest region of the eastern United States, southern Canada, and the eastern Great Plains.
