  1. I found a few references where this beetle is identified as Onymacris rugatipennis and I created a record for it.

Onymacris rugatipennis is a tenebrionid beetle, also known as fog basking beetles or Tok Tokkies, from the Namib Desert. They have adapted to collect water from the morning dew.
