Giant leaf-footed bug My mother and I where walking near from home and I saw this Acanthocephala declivis, I took some pictures, thank you Claire Hamilton for your comments, they help me to find the name from the bug, there are in different colors, this is like silver, the one on the picture from Wikipedia is brown, but as you said before, there are many kinds, regards! Giant leaf-footed bug

  2. Best I can do is one of the leaf-footed bugs (Coreidae) possibly either Leptoglossus or Acanthocephala but there are so many of them and Wiki does not help much. I will have another look when I have a bit more time. Love this one! Posted 11 years ago

  4. I don't think so... This is more likely Acanthocephala declivis. As you say, Leptoglossus occidentalis is brown with a different pattern.
