Creeping Charlie
This member of the mint family has been widely introduced and established throughout much of the world. Originating in Europe and Asia, it is often considered a nuisance where it has been introduced. Although, they are still quite pretty. Captured in the hardwood forests of northern Illinois.

"Glechoma hederacea" is an aromatic, perennial, evergreen creeper of the mint family Lamiaceae. It is commonly known as ground-ivy, gill-over-the-ground, creeping charlie, alehoof, tunhoof, catsfoot, field balm, and run-away-robin.
