  1. And what a photo it is. Congrats on the milestone. It's not just an impressive quantity, your portfolio is highly diverse and meticulously documented. An overall epic portfolio, thank you for sharing it. Posted 3 months ago

  2. 15,000 photos. Wow, that is dedication.
For the diving beetle I like that you were able to capture what looks like the air bubble it uses to breath.

    1. Thanks William...Yes, that's an air bubble! Not only can they trap air bubbles under their wings, but as a beetle uses up the oxygen in the bubble, oxygen from the water diffuses into the bubble as carbon dioxide simultaneously diffuses out of the bubble and into the water. 3. Many of us have a long to go to get to 15000 images , but good chance for you to catch up to Ferdy very soon.
Love your work and the water beetle is a great image.

    2. I happen to know that Christine is sitting on vast archives that are yet to be shared. Which is not true for me, I barely have any stock left. So it's only a matter of time.

Which is good, I invite every member to outshare me, it's great for the platform.

      1. Yes, but even with thousands of pics still in my archives, you will add many more new species than I will. Posted 3 months ago
