    1. I think in the past a record of Sphegina ensifera is created with Sphex ingens as Common name, which is not correct. There is no photo associated with this record. I think Ferdy will solve the issue deleting the old record and creating a new one for Sphex ingens. Posted 20 days ago
      1. When you type in binomial name (so not common name) A but instead get binomial name B, the cause of this issue almost always originates at Wikipedia itself, and is then reflected at JD.

        This is indeed such a case. It can be tested as follow. Go to:
        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page

        Then type "Sphex ingens" in the search box. Wikipedia then redirects you to Sphegina ensifera instead. Wikipedia thinks these species are synonyms, but they're not. JungleDragon then copies this relationship so the faulty link will then also appear here. It indeed requires manual fixing, which I just did, so thanks for pointing it out.
