    Trametes elegans does not occur in the US. This is likely T. gibbosa. Posted 6 years ago

The Lumpy bracket

"Trametes gibbosa" is a polypore mushroom that causes a white rot. It is found on beech stumps and the dead wood of other hardwood species.
