Mylabris quadripunctata on Anchusa azurea

Mylabris quadripunctata is a Blister Beetle that occurs widely in the south of Europe and in Turkey. The 13-16 mm long beetle can be recognized from the orange to bright red shields, the rest of the body being black. The antennae are clearly segmented and broadest at the ends.
