The red-rumped wheatear or buff-rumped wheatear is a species of bird in the family Muscicapidae. It is found in Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, and Yemen. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical dry shrubland.
