"Ailanthus altissima" /eɪˈlænθəs ælˈtɪsɪmə/, commonly known as tree of heaven, ailanthus, or in Standard Chinese as "chouchun", is a deciduous tree in the Simaroubaceae family. It is native to both northeast and central China, as well as Taiwan.
