It is found in France and North America, where it has been recorded from California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Manitoba, Maryland, Minnesota, New Brunswick, New York, Newfoundland, North Carolina, Nova Scotia, Ohio, Oklahoma, Ontario, Quebec, Tennessee and Vermont.
