Ariel's Melitaea on October 7th 2023, Hammas terrorists invaded Israel, murdered about 1200 people, kidnapped 251 and put our country into a horrible chaos. 59 of the kidnapped are still there, in Gaza. <br />
one of the families that was kidnapped was the Bibas family - the horrifying picture of mom Shiri, holding her 2 babies - 4 years old Ariel and 9 month old Kfir, is one of the horrid pictures of the event. <br />

''Melitaea ornata'' is a butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. The species rank of ''Melitaea ornata'' was only very recently recognised in two publications by Russell, et al. in 2005 and 2007.
